Order taker, Dalatrafik Borlänge Job Responsibilities
Do you want to make a difference for travelers in Dalarna? We are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented order taker for our customer center in Borlänge. As an order taker at Dalatrafik, you are an important link between us and our travelers. You will have daily contact with customers via phone and email, where you receive bookings and inquiries through phone and digital systems, ensuring that each journey is planned and executed safely and efficiently. The work is carried out in close collaboration with traffic managers, drivers, and other colleagues within the organization. You work in a team where service, collaboration, and solution focus are at the center. The work can be intense at times, requiring you to be stress-resistant and flexible.
Your responsibilities:
- Receive and register travel bookings in our systems
- Inform customers about schedules, modes of transport, and any changes
- Handle cancellations and rebookings
- Provide excellent service to all travelers, with a special focus on those with special needs
- Collaborate with traffic management and other units to ensure high quality in traffic
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in customer service, preferably within transport, healthcare, or similar
- Is attentive, solution-oriented, and enjoys talking on the phone
- Has good computer skills and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Other languages are a plus
- Maintains a calm and professional demeanor even in stressful situations
